Day 1 of the LCI Fishing Derby is a wrap for our crew. Miserable conditions as normal. Air temp 45, 20+ mph wind gusts out of the North, 2-3 footers with a few rouge 4s. Lake trout grounds were a no go so we switched it up to small mouths. Able to put a small 3.5 lb small mouth on the board for a brief period.
Day 2 tomorrow is looking a lot like today!! Damn winds on Lake Champlain can be tough!!
