Lake Champlain Fishing Reports 3

One for the books today! I took Devin out for a fantastic summer morning of fishing with Irish Raider Outfitters LLC. We set off from Cumberland Head, NY as the sun was just starting to peek over the horizon. The early morning air was crisp, and the sky was clear - perfect conditions for a day on the water. With our gear rigged and ready, we got straight to work. I decided to mix things up and use a variety of techniques to give Devin the best shot at landing some fish.

The clear conditions made for some exciting visual fishing at times, as we could occasionally spot bass following our lures. We wrapped up the trip with smiles all around, having enjoyed a productive morning on the water.

We had a fantastic afternoon on the water with Jennifer's crew for our Seasonal PM 4 hour trip on Lake Champlain. Even though the weather started a bit cloudy, by the time we got out on the lake, it had cleared up nicely - perfect for an afternoon of fishing.

We started out with some lake trout jigging but the fish failed to clise the deal. Switched it up to some small mouth bass haunts an closed the deal on a few smallies on top water and jerk baits. Water conditions were stained from recent rain storms making the sight fishing on spawning beds tough. These lads are definetly fishermen!!
